Roots of Perseverance is a Documentary I created that highlights the work of the Black Cherry Tree Project. The BCTP honors the 33 Lynching Victims of Jefferson County, AL through the planting of Black Cherry Trees at their lynching Site, along with 33 artists creating pieces of art to honor the victims. The documentary was exhibited at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
